The Klaxons are currently in the early stages of recording a concept album documenting French social and political upheaval between 1789 and 1799, with a provisional title of ‘Let Them Eat K’. The treatise promises to be a “reimagining” of the French Revolution, in which, according to frontman Jamie Reynolds, instead of the French proletariat being imbued with a spirit of righteous dissent, “they’re just stuffed full of ket”. Thus far, the trio have recorded ‘Marie-Antoinekket’, ‘We Are The Guillo Teens (And We’re Doing Some Ket)’ and sure fire hit ‘It Was The Best Of Times (When There Was Ket) It Was The Worst Of Times (When There Wasn’t)’.
